GMI offers the full breadth of traditional Energy Service Company
(ESCO) services. We provide the detailed energy audits followed by
design, construction, and system commissioning. We return to measure
and verify your savings each year to ensure they match what we
promised — and guaranteed. And we bring our financial partners to
the table so you don’t have to use your already stretched capital
funds.
GMI also offers consulting services related to ESPC projects. For ESPC projects where GMI is ineligible to compete, we provide advice with Request for Proposal development, scoring and evaluation criteria, technical evaluation of proposals, and interviews. We have extensive experience in this area and would be happy to assist you.
The Tennessee Board of Regents wanted to implement its first ESPC to reduce operating costs and conserve energy while simultaneously upgrading its infrastructure for its 18 campuses. GMI outlined the process, providing building energy audits for prioritization and determination of a baseline. Measurement and verification protocols were determined to ensure that success was clearly defined for everyone involved. GMI assisted with RFP development, evaluation and scoring. After conducting interviews with the short list candidates, GMI made a recommendation for the award of the contract. TBR has received tremendous recognition for the success of this program.
Based on the results of an energy audit GMI performed for
Port San Antonio, the
firm is completely redesigning and implementing a heating system
infrastructure serving seven tenant-occupied buildings. The cost of
this contract ultimately will be determined by a schedule directly
tied to the incremental energy savings realized. Those energy
savings targets are derived from the original energy audit performed
by GMI. Watch this website for updates on our progress!
