James City County awards GMI contract for archeological services

PLANO, TEXAS (August 31, 2007)

James City County (Virginia) awarded an annual contract for Archeological Services to Geo-Marine. Duane Peter, V.P. of Geo-Marine’s Cultural Resource Division, received the good news from James City County procurement staff saying GMI was selected based upon the ability to bring projects in on time and budget and the strength of our Quality Control Process.

Mr. Peter said that the Virginia Cultural Resource team demonstrated a very strong can-do attitude in their proposal efforts. Especially noteworthy was the Principal Investigator of the effort, Brandi Carrier-Jones. “Brandi worked very hard to illustrate GMI’s abilities and capabilities and how we will help James City County meet their needs,” Mr. Peter stated.
