DOE Adds GMI to Approved ESCOs

PLANO, TEXAS (August 23, 2007)

Geo-Marine's name has been added to the Department of Energy’s qualified list of Energy Service Companies (ESCO). The list is comprised of qualified private industry energy services companies who may compete for advertised Federal energy savings performance contracts (ESPC).

"This will allow us to market to federal clients and sell energy services where funds are not available," said V.P. Larry Kaminsky. GMI will develop and design energy efficiency projects, install the equipment, and measure and monitor the savings which GMI will guarantee to pay for the project.

GMI develops and installs projects designed to improve the energy efficiency and maintenance costs for facilities over a seven to ten year time period. As an ESCO project developer for a wide range of tasks, GMI will assume the technical and performance risk associated with the project.
